Every pattern on a Flowbam piece traveled to get here — across trade routes, between civilizations, through a thousand hands that copied it, changed it, and passed it on. We're just the ones who carried it the last mile.
Flowbam began with a simple observation: the world's most beautiful patterns don't belong to anyone. The blue in Chinese porcelain is cobalt from Persia. The paisley on a Scottish shawl is a teardrop from a Persian garden. The arabesque has four names in four languages and not a single owner.
So we became curators, not inventors. We choose patterns with real journeys, research where they came from, and put them on things you'll actually carry — totes, pouches, bags for ordinary days. Each one comes with the story of how it traveled, because a pattern with a passport deserves to be introduced.

We print on certified organic cotton where we can, work with vetted makers, and tell you honestly how each piece is made. We're early — nine patterns, a small collection, a lot still to learn. But the direction is set: carry the world's patterns forward, one ordinary day at a time.
