Paisley Handbag

Before paisley had its English name, the boteh was a curved Persian drop—a seed mid-sprout—carried through Kashmir shawls and later renamed by a Scottish mill town. Here, that traveling shape gathers across a hand-carried handbag, bringing the movement of a shawl field into a compact daily companion.

The polyester canvas gives the paisley field a steady textile surface, and sublimation lets the curled boteh repeat cleanly across the bag. The handbag shape keeps the print close to daily essentials without turning the piece into luggage.
